WITH SPANISH INTERPRETATION
The first Gender Justice Lab of 2024 is part of ILC celebration of the International Women’s day, and focuses on a long-lasting and crucial activity that ILC members undertake to promote Women’s land rights: alternative reporting, mostly to CEDAW. Three speakers from three regions will share their experiences, including in terms of active participation in CEDAW sessions. The Lab also aims at encouraging other ILC members and organisations to engage in alternative reporting processes.
WHAT WE WILL LEARN
- What is an Alternative Report, and how to conduct one?
- How do CEDAW sessions work, and what are their positive and negative aspects?
