Land rights across South Asia's rangelands

Established in 2015 through the South Asia regional process of the World Alliance of Mobile Indigenous Peoples, the South Asia Pastoralist Alliance(SAPA) is a member-led regional platform supported by ILC that works to strengthen people-centred land governance across South Asia’s rangelands and commons.

Hosted by ILC member Maldhari Rural Action Group(MARAG),SAPA convenes pastoralist organisations, civil society groups, government agencies, research institutions, and individual practitioners in a collaborative network spanning seven countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
