The flyer elaborates on the relief work done by ILC Asia member the Association for Land Reform and Development (ALRD) in Bangladesh, which facilitates the National Engagement Strategy (NES) platform in the country.
Despite the many initiatives that indigenous peoples in Bangladesh have taken to protect the environment, they were further pushed to marginalisation in the times of Covid-19. ALRD and other NES members have given their support to indigenous communities through food distribution, protective measures to maintain social distancing and awareness-raising programmes.
