There is a need to strengthen synergies between civil society organisations and regional economic communities at the national and regional levels. Good policy frameworks are available at continental level, but these frameworks need to be translated into action, moving from formulation to practice. How can we implement them so that people can benefit? How can we monitor progress at state level? How can we document the implementation challenges faced?
