The Participatory Rangelands Management (PRM) project has been using a participatory approach to help curb land conflicts in Africa. For example they have been engaging the youth to help with maintaining security in the grazing areas. The project also works with pastoralists, national and local authorities to secure rangelands across the country through the implementation of village land use planning and land certification.
The session also looked at the changes brought by COVID19 and the opportunity to reimagine resilient food systems.
