ILC Africa members developed the Gender Justice Charter in 2014 and later repurposed it in 2019 to conform with ILC Strategy 2016-2021 that identified Gender Justice as a core value. In November 2021 members further modified the Charter to align it with ILC 2022-2030 Strategy, where Gender Justice is recognised as a cross-cutting pledge. The session will showcase the experience of three ILC members from Africa promoting Gender Justice and implementing the ILC Gender Justice Charter.
