This Learning Lab will present findings from the first-ever SDG report using LANDex data in Nepal. We will hear from report authors, civil society, government officials and SDG custodians about the contribution that LANDex can make to the monitoring of land rights in the SDGs, alongside and in the absence of government data.
The report aims to contribute to monitoring of SDGs in the following ways:
- Assessing a country’s political commitment to land SDGs
- Reviewing available data for key land indicators
- Integrating a broader data system to contribute to land monitoring
